Welcome to a lavish masquerade, full of gold, glitter, and dazzling lights! This year's Birthday Ball is a beautiful fusion of ancient tradition and new technology, including great food and great music ! Come usher in a new year at Washington College !

Ticket Sales
Current Washington College students, faculty & staff: first ticket free. Student tickets available outside the Bookstore. Faculty and staff can pick up their ticket at will call.
Alumni may purchase tickets online for $40.00 each through Alumnet.
- All tickets will be available at the door
- Lost tickets cannot be refunded
Time
The event runs from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m.
- Doors open at 8:00 p.m.
Place
The ball is held at the Lifetime Fitness Center (LFC) at Washington College.
- This year, the entrance to the Ball will be through Cain Gym, not the regular LFC entrance.
Dress
Formal dress or themed attire is required.
- Men should wear a jacket and tie or better
- Women should wear appropriate formal wear
Parking
The parking lots in front of the LFC will only be accessible for handicap parking. You may park along Campus Avenue.
Transportation Options
Two shuttles will run throughout Chestertown beginning at 7:30 p.m. along with the Rock Hall trolley.
- The WC shuttles are free. To contact the shuttles for a ride, please call 410-778-7810.
- The trolley will cost $2.00 for the evening.
Alcohol Policies
Alcohol may not be brought into the LFC; it is served on the premises.
- Tabbed wristbands will be available at the ball. Patrons will only be able to purchase one wristband for the evening. A driver’s license is required for alcohol purchase.
- 5 drink-tabbed wristbands are $15.00 (available until 9:00 p.m.)
- 4 drink-tabbed wristbands are $13.00 (available until 9:30 p.m.)
- 3 drink-tabbed wristbands are $10.00 (available until 10:00 p.m.)
- 2 drink-tabbed wristbands are $6.00 (available until 10:30 p.m.)
- 1 drink-tabbed wristbands are $3.00 (available until 11:00 p.m.)
- Last call is 11:15 p.m. The bar closes at 11:30 P.M.
Miscellaneous
There will be a coat check located to your left upon entering the LFC.
- Please realize many people pick-up their coats, seemingly all at once. Please be patient at the end of the night.
